A new web application that can help people across the US reduce their property tax has been released. Home Tax Alert works by helping homeowners whose homes have been over-assessed and helps to streamline the process so that it is more accessible and understandable for those who own their own homes.
The CEO of Home Tax Alert LLC, Keith Grosz, said: “Local assessors are doing the best job they can within the limited resources available to them, but the real estate market changes every day. We now have a way to better keep up with those changes and help homeowners that are over-assessed. Our customers understand that they have to pay every cent they owe in home property taxes, they just want to pay what is fair.”
Home Tax Alert was founded in 2011 with the goal of making property tax reduction an accurate, understandable and fast process for those homeowners who have been over-assessed. Development of the software began in 2009 and underwent a fine-tuning process that involved work by property tax professionals, attorneys and CPAs along with statisticians. Thousands of homeowners have already taken advantage of the software, which has been repeatedly tested for accuracy in order to reduce the amount of property tax they have had to pay. The application boasts an impressive 80% success rate.
Working by incorporating public records with the existing regulations of the local taxing jurisdiction, the application is free to use apart from a one-time fee that equates to 50% of the amount saved during the first year.
