For the asking price of a mere $13.5 million, you too might be able to purchase the home of your wildest fantasies in the Sunshine State of Florida - providing that the home of your wildest fantasies happens to be a shack with no windows and made entirely out of corrugated iron, of course. The drab one-story structure hit the real estate market in Florida recently and was listed with an enormous price tag, despite the fact that it comes with hardly anything in the way of rooms and seems to more in danger of being torn down than lived in.
Of course, the lucky buyer will still be able to get plenty for their hefty investment. While $13.5 million would seem to be an insane asking price for the shack on its own, this chunk of money will also get the buyer around 30 acres of land and even two "emerald green ponds", as the owners put it - or swamps, as most other people would probably describe them.
The sellers appear to be on the hunt for buyers who will most likely want to pull down the existing property and replace it with a luxury mansion more fitting of a multimillion dollar investment purchase, although there is still a remote chance that the purchaser could be persuaded otherwise by the shack's luxury décor which includes a working kitchen, a bathroom, and pink bedrooms.
The outdoors type will also have plenty of space to go off-roading, with the property offering miles of seclusion from the rest of civilization. On the downside, the shack has no windows at all, though the property could be said to compensate for this by offering two private swamps instead.
