Orlando to play host to Florida Realtors Convention during August

It has been announced that realtors from across the US will converge in Orlando for the state association’s 96th annual convention, which is due to take place between August 8th and August 12th.  

Scheduled to be held in the Marriott World Center, there will be around 30 educational sessions where industry leaders will give talks on topics such as business strategies, residential property management, working with international clients, spotting investment opportunities and much more.

One of the main features of the event this year will be the chance for those people who are attending to meet real estate giant Barbara Corcoran, who is also a television producer, novelist and TV star. She is well known to the public as a contributor to NBC’s TODAY show and featuring on ABC’s Shark Tank, amongst other achievements. Ms Corcoran will be giving a talk during the general session, which will take place on August 10th.

Parties have also been organized to keep those who attend occupied during the evenings, including a 60s themed Surf and Beach party where the group Papa Doo Run Run will be performing.

The Trade Expo, which will be taking place at the same time, will feature 135 booths showcasing the latest real estate products.
