Increase in purchasers in area

19th Nov, 2012back

Investments in Sarasota announced last week that in addition to the overall positive outlook in the real estate market in Sarasota, there has also been a notable increase in the number of international purchasers who are looking in the area for Florida luxury realty. This is especially true in the case of international purchasers from the United Kingdom.  Lee Mirman, a property specialist, has recently written that Sarasota's increasingly international culture is good for the local residents, businesses and real estate.

Nor is it just the culture or even the great lifestyle that is attracting buyers to Sarasota, with the reviving property market and the strength of the British pound against the US dollar also proving attractive to those wanting to invest in luxury real estate in the Sunshine State.  As the cultural capital of the state, Sarasota ? with its great climate and location ? is once again proving to be a very sound investment property location.

"It's always a pleasure to help people from the UK and Europe find their slice of Florida luxury realty here in Sarasota," says Lee Mirman, who is a Sarasota Certified International Property Specialist.  "The influx of international homeowners and visitors is also a huge plus for our community and the real estate market in Sarasota.  I for one have seen a significant increase in buyers asking me to represent them as their estate agent [in] Sarasota Florida."

It is important to choose an estate agent who is a Certified International Property Specialist, as this means that they will be qualified to understand all of the complexities and issues surrounding international property investment. This, in turn will ensure that you are able to get the best international luxury real estate deal possible.

Between 1976 and 2006 the value of building plots in Florida rose from an average of $15,000 to $250,000
